Job Posting: CNC Set-Up Machinist at Caterpillar in Lafayette, Indiana

Position: CNC Set-Up Machinist (Level 4 Technician)

Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Duration: Full-year contract

Compensation:

• Hourly wage: $37/hour

• Weekly per diem: $1,050

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and NC controlled machines.

• Perform boring milling, drilling, and reaming tasks.

• Interpret CNC programs, Job Instruction Sheets, CMM data, and Gageit (gage tracking).

• Monitor processes using Infinity.

• Troubleshoot and solve machine, tooling, and program malfunctions.

• Maintain production, quality, and housekeeping standards.

• Collaborate effectively in a team environment
