Position Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in sustainability change programs across ACG teams as identified in strategy development engagement. Monitors the strategic direction set by senior management and steering committee to direct research focus. Determines methods and procedures for approaching new sustainability issues and targets. Partners with identified business area leaders to support pilot, launch, and scale sustainability initiatives. Leverages insights from various sources, including scholarly databases, journals, articles, and external vendor to help build, sustain, and progress ACG's Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy. Additional duties include: Monitor global and governmental sustainability developments, trends, requirements, and best practices Support periodic assessment of sustainability targets in relation to ever-changing marketplace Collaborates with external vendor to validate value modeling Collaborate with external vendor to build Sustainability strategy Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Employee Communications, Public and Government Affairs, Finance, and Strategy to ensure brand and financial alignment Aid in building executive presentations Find, recommend, and participate in sustainability seminars Identify key sustainability metrics and benchmarks Provide data to Value Identification Consultant for modeling activities Seek ideas to engage employees and members in sustainability activities Assesses sustainability targets and progress made toward forecasted value creation

Total Compensation Overview:

Sustanibility Specialist will earn a competitive salary of $70,967.52 to $110,385.60 annually with an annual bonus potential based on performance.

Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related area

Experience: Background in Finance, Strategy, Project Management, Consulting, or Environmental Sciences 5+ years of work experience with increasing levels of responsibility 3+ years working supporting one or more business areas to develop and achieve strategies

Knowledge and Skills: Firm understanding of sustainability issues and proposed solutions Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sources to utilize in research Developed methodologies to assess and report value to key stakeholders Strategic and detail-oriented Excellent research skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Created executive presentations Creative solution generation Keen ability to translate research into consumable presentations Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities at the same time History of establishing strong relationships Strong quantitative skills with KPIs and analyzing sets of data

Preferred Qualifications MBA or other advanced degree Expert understanding of environmental and sustainability issues and solutions Experience researching sustainability strategy programs Understanding of ACG's vast product portfolio Analytical mindset and detail-oriented Translate data and model results into consumable and actionable story
