Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Sr IT Application Engineer to support an automotive supplier. You would be responsible for working on systems enhancements for Oracle from both a technical development and functionality standpoint. This includes onboarding new customers, EDI, mapping within the system, develop applications, reading through specifications and understanding business processes. Additional responsibilities include:

- Estimation, Design, Development, Documentation and Testing.

- Use of Oracle Applications 12.1.3 or higher.

- Development within Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle XML / BI Publisher Reports, Oracle APEX, OA Framework Pages, JSON, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.

- Order-to-Cash processes.

- EDI Process, preparing Bridge documents and EDI mapping documents

- E-commerce Gateway, Release Management (RLM) , Order Management(OM) modules of Oracle Applications

- Ensuring compliance with technology standards, processes, and policies

- Writing Oracle Alerts

- Development and Coding Standards

- Upgradation and Migration

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field

- 7+ years of experience in development of Oracle applications using version 12.1.3 or higher

- Proficient with SQL and PL/SQL

- Experience with one or more oracle development tools:

o XML / BI Publisher Reports, Reports, JSON, Forms, Workflow

- Experience with EDI transactions and EDI modules

o Release Management (RLM), e-Commerce Gateway (EC), Order Management (OM)

- Experience on the Technical and Functionality side, specifically supply chain functionality APEX null
