As our RIS Analyst, you will provide project support, assists in managing issues and accepts direction toward accomplishing the goals and objectives of the organization. Every day you will, analyze and work to resolve billing edits while working closely with clients and other R1 teams. You will also navigate through billing systems (Ex: Meditech and Cerner) to review patient accounts and electronic health records. To thrive in this role, you must have CDM/RIS experience, CPT/HCPCS and revenue code knowledge, and have efficient time management skills.

Here’s what you will experience working as an RIS Analyst:

• Prepares Excel analysis, including VLookups and pivot tables

• Gathers and compiles data in a systematic fashion, clearly documenting assumptions and validating accuracy of information to resolve inconsistencies

• Research charging/billing questions for new and existing services to ensure appropriate revenue recognition

• Analyzes data to identify likely relationships, summarizes data and prepares summary materials for discussion with clinical and finance teams

• Runs and extracts accurate reports from software tools

• Travel by air and land is required. Travel can be 2% to 3% of work time and overnight stays will be required.

Required Skills:

• One to three years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, cost benefit analysis, and budgeting, preferably within a healthcare environment

• Experience with CDM / Charge Master

• Proficiency in Excel

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $45,011.00 - $63,466.20 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
