Location : Romulus, MI

Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts) or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (if workload decreases) Monday-Friday

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laborer to assist with the operation of our automated conveyor sort system for package processing. This position involves manual handling of packages, volume testing, and maintaining the efficiency of the sorting system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load test packages into the automated conveyor sort system.

• Monitor and ensure the system efficiently handles a designated number of packages during volume testing.

• Regather and return packages to the induction area after testing is completed.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Lift and move packages as needed (packages are not heavy).

• Navigate a floor equipped with wheels and large containers for easy package movement.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of English (speaking and comprehension); no translators available on-site.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
