About Chemicals and Natural Resources

Our CNR practice is a specialist group within the Management Consulting team that provides industry leading solutions and services to Chemicals, Mining, Metals, Building Materials and Forest Product industries. An important aspect of our work is to apply digital solutions and services to help our clients transform to a new way of working – focusing on worker safety and productivity, asset performance, operations optimization, and innovative and effective supply chains. We collaborate with technology alliance partners as we work with our clients to strategically assess opportunities and customize solutions that address their challenges to achieve their corporate strategies and priorities.

About the Role:

Are you a seasoned leader in the Chemicals & Natural Resources (CNR) sector who thrives on driving transformation and delivering meaningful change? Do you have a passion for helping clients achieve their sustainability and digital transformation goals? As a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Resources practice, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping our clients address their most complex challenges and innovate in the CNR industry. In this role, you’ll lead high-impact client engagements, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver strategic solutions that align with client goals. You’ll leverage your expertise in the CNR industry to drive growth opportunities, foster client relationships, and mentor emerging talent within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead High-Impact Client Engagements: Drive consulting engagements focused on digital transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainability, ensuring projects meet client objectives and industry standards.

  • Build Strategic Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and aligning Accenture’s offerings to deliver maximum value.

  • Drive Thought Leadership and Innovation: Champion the development of cutting-edge solutions leveraging Accenture’s capabilities in SAP, AI, Cloud, and other emerging technologies.

  • Contribute to Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, support proposal creation, and participate in client presentations to grow Accenture’s footprint in the CNR sector.

  • Mentor and Guide Team Members: Support a collaborative and high-performing team environment by mentoring junior team members and contributing to their professional development.

  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Maintain a strong understanding of CNR industry trends, technological advancements, and sustainability practices to inform and enhance client solutions.

Please note, we are open to hiring in most major cities across the US, that are near to an Accenture corporate office.

What You Need

  • Industry Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in the Natural Resources industry, specific to Mining with demonstrated success in addressing complex sector challenges.

  • Consulting Experience: 5+ years in a consulting or equivalent role, with a focus on managing complex client engagements and ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Sustainability Focus: A strong commitment to sustainability, with a track record of helping clients meet environmental and social responsibility goals.

  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with experience building trusted relationships with client executives.

  • Proven Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, inspire collaboration, and drive innovation.

Nice to Have:

  • Cross-Industry Experience: Familiarity with Metals, Ag Chemicals, or Mining industries.

  • Technical Acumen: Experience with digital transformation strategies and familiarity with technologies like SAP, AI, and Cloud.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
