About Us:

Causley Trucking is a family-owned and operated business based in Detroit, dedicated to maintaining a fleet of semi-trucks, straight trucks, dry van trailers, and service vehicles. We are currently searching for a skilled and driven Diesel Technician to join our team and play a key role in keeping our fleet running at peak performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on semi-trucks, straight trucks, dry van trailers, and service vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ESA, Davie4, Insite, and JPRO for effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including annual inspections, mileage-based services (oil changes), and lubrication.
• Collaborate with team members across multiple terminals to address and resolve equipment issues.
• Report completed repairs and maintenance updates to the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications:

• Class A Endorsement required.
• Must own a complete set of tools.
• Strong diagnostic skills, with proficiency in using computer-based and engine diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, after-treatment systems, and engine components.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Welding and cutting torch skills are a bonus but not required.
