IBM Functional Lead - St FL Child Welfare SME in Detroit, Michigan

Your role and responsibilities

  • Serve as a pivotal liaison between IBM and DCF leadership, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment of our solutions with DCF's needs and priorities.

  • Lead the IBM team as a subject matter expert knowledge expert guiding and mentoring in the Child Welfare Domain for the Functional and Technical teams.

  • Lead and participate in design sessions, leveraging their practical insights to ensure our proposed solutions are not only technologically sound but also operationally feasible within the DCF context.

  • Develop and delivery of comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing both new and existing BAs' understanding of the child welfare domain.

  • Provide inputs and support future POCs that can build as new growth opportunities for the Account.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • A resilient Business Analyst with Child Welfare Experience who has a strong understanding and working experience with the Child Welfare System for the State of Florida.

  • They excel in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.

  • They possess strong impact analysis and gap analysis abilities, effectively managing stakeholders and users while facilitating requirement workshops.

  • Should have 7 years of field experience with Child Welfare Investigation and Case Management and familiar with the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) System.

  • Experience with JIRA, Agile Methodologies and knowledgeable about local child welfare processes across the state will be a plus. A Child Welfare Protective Investigator, case manager, and Licensing Counselor(CWPI, CWCM, CWLC),

  • Certified Child Welfare Supervisor(CCWS) are big plus.

Preferred technical and professional experience

    • 9 years of field experience with Child Welfare Investigation and Case Management and familiar with the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) System.
  • Certified Child Welfare Supervisor(CCWS).
