This position manages the existing communications portfolio for Fort Street, provide administrative and organizational support for Fort Street's various committees/ministries, coordinate and execute needed administrative tasks as directed.

*RESPONSIBILITIES *

• Communication

• • Create/maintain Social Media post calendar and schedule posts according to that calendar.
  • Work with website service to ensure fortstreet.org is kept up-to-date
  • Ensure electronic sign is updated weekly or as needed
  • Produce up-to-date materials reflecting current programming, including church signage, posters, social media graphics, and bulletin boards.
  • Craft and send weekly Mailchimp email.
  • Manage any mail or email correspondence to the congregation as needed 
  • Organize and manage the weekly church bulletin
  • Manage Vimeo weekly live stream tasks and monthly set up tasks.
  • Edit and post weekly sermon audio/video to Soundcloud and Youtube to improve search engine optimization. Reconcile backlog of sermon material to match. 
  • Support live stream volunteers as needed.

• Serve as the "face" and voice of Fort Street, projecting a cheerful and welcoming persona for members, visitors, and guests.
• Greet visitors and conduct informal church tours when necessary.
• Answer telephones, providing accurate information about the church and its programs.
• Attend community meetings as directed. 
• Monitor entrances and exits following Fort Street protocols 

Administrative Tasks

Coordinate external requests for support of Fort Street pastors or Fort Street support with the appropriate Pastor or volunteer.

Act as the first source of information about Pastors calendars

Maintain awareness of church staff schedules through Google Calendar.
