Amentum is seeking a Range Maintenance Technician for a Facilities O&M Services Contract. The Range Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for all facilities designated under range areas of operation. Range O&M typically support M-F from 06:30 to 3:30 and have competency for the following:

Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

Comply and follow with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.

Comply with all site policies and procedures.

Maintain ranges, range equipment and keeps facilities in a safe working condition.

Provides technical assistance and meets target safety requirements.

Assists in the development of safe and realistic tactical movement testing concepts.

Follows established safety and cleaning procedures, conduct safety reviews, and walk throughs of all range operating areas.

Assist with maintaining all live fire facilities and equipment. To include: battery operated, pneumatic systems, and static steel.

Ensures all range equipment and range consumable materials are stocked and on-hand in each range location.

Follows schedule/tasks to detail, communicated down by the Range Technician lead.

Works with the Range Technician lead when mitigating issues/ problem solving.

Perform jobs/tasks in outside unconditioned environment working in the extreme hot and humid weather.

Responsible for maintaining and cleaning government issued items and/or property.

Coordinates with the Range Technician lead on task completed daily.

Ability to provide a detailed purchase request for range consumables.

Periodically available to work evening and weekend work when required.

Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Perform other duties and activities as directed such as: basic painting, lawn maintenance with grass cutting and weed eating, working with other trades to complete general task(s) at hand.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

H.S diploma or equivalent.

3 yrs. experience in range maintenance.

Provide applicable certifications.

Computer literacy to navigate online required training, time keeping, and email.

A valid Driver's license form applicant's home state is required.

Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and have flexibility to move from one task to the next or work multiple tasks simultaneously.

Reasoning ability.

Can define problems and collect data while establishing facts to draw valid conclusions.

Good customer service skills.

Self-starter and motivated to perform at high level.
