Adecco Medical & Science is hiring Medical Assistants in DeSoto, TX!

Type: Two Month Contract with opportunity for extension

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 40 hours a week

Pay: $22 to $ 24.34/hr.

Responsibilities Include:

· Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patient care procedures

· Maintain established quality control standards

· Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately

· Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies

· Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms

· Assist with Quality, ensuring patients are getting their preventative screening exams.

Requirements Include:

· High school graduate or GED

· Knowledge of medical terminology

· Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

· Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment

· EMR experience

· Immunizations/vaccinations required: MMR, TB Screening, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, Tdap, Covid 19 vaccination
