TEKsystems Data Entry Clerk in Des Plaines, Illinois

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist who will handle driver and fleet inquiries and problems. The role also involves handling repetitive tasks in mailing and stuffing of envelopes, working at a quick pace, and paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emails daily (40+ a day).

  • Update internal database and handle filing duties.

  • Communicate with various oil companies when necessary.

  • Handle repetitive tasks in mailing and stuffing of envelopes.

  • Handle driver and fleet inquiries and problems via email.

  • Understand client-specific needs.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of recent customer service and/or office/retail experience.

  • Experience in customer service via email, handling roughly 40 emails per day.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good computer skills and spelling.

  • High school diploma.

  • Ability to work 100% onsite.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in the Des Plaines office. The company will be moving to Schaumburg in a few months. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50
