About the Role:
Confluent is seeking a highly motivated individual to enable our GTM teams to over-achieve through data-driven operational planning, excellence in execution, and providing first line support to regional GTM leadership. Your role is critical in aligning KPIs to the regional strategy, setting the right targets for success, and driving the GTM rhythm of the business (forecast, pipeline, QBR and other cadences) to achieve business unit goals. You will work closely with Sales leaders, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of our strategic objectives.
This role will lead business critical initiatives to improve operating efficiency and performance, own vital sales metric analyses, and help develop the go to market strategies that will drive revenue growth for years to come. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader who has strong business acumen, communication skills, and a data driven approach to solving complex issues.

What You Will Do:
Drive excellence in execution by driving the GTM rhythm of the business for your teams, including regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting; forecast calls; pipeline councils; and be an active contributor to QBRs and other strategic meetings.
Operational planning by leading annual planning for your sales theater with responsibilities including coverage modeling, segmentation, territory design, and quota setting in partnership with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Provide in-depth business analytics that informs planning and other strategic decisions, and helps Confluent to maximize market penetration and sales team attainment.
First-Line support for regional sales leadership by becoming a trusted partner to your GTM teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and other cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities to optimize the business, and participate in the execution of those projects.
Lead special projects for your theater to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Lead initiatives across the Global Sales Operations group and be a thought leader on this team.
What You Will Bring:
BA/BS degree preferred.
4-6 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, consulting, or a related discipline. Experience within the SaaS industry is a plus as well.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey ideas and information in written and verbal form to a variety of audiences.
Endless curiosity and a need to dive deeper for understanding. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and display diplomatic and remarkable interpersonal skills with colleagues and other partners.
Advanced excel and Salesforce skills required. Familiarity with SQL and Tableau are a plus.

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $128,700 - $151,200, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
