Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in Des Moines, Iowa

Job Description

As an Oracle Product Manager specializing in Restaurant and Hospitality Technology, you will oversee the development and management of Oracle's product offerings tailored to the restaurant and hospitality sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, technological solutions, and customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the products meet market demands and support business growth.

  • Strong understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry, including operational challenges and technology needs, particularly in financial management and accounting

  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

  • Familiarity with Oracle's suite of restaurant and hospitality products is a plus.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy for Oracle products.

  • Create and maintain a product roadmap aligned with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

  1. Product Development:
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and specifications.

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business priorities.

  • Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  1. Customer Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product-related inquiries and feedback.

  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners to understand their needs and ensure their success with Oracle products.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovations.

  1. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Create compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates Oracle products in the market.

  • Support sales teams with training, tools, and resources to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

  1. Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor product performance against key metrics and goals.

  • Conduct regular reviews of product performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and implement corrective actions to address any product issues or gaps.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, support, and operations to ensure cohesive product delivery.

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
