In this role, you'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge identity resolution technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of innovative AI/ML-powered solutions that will transform how Ford Credit interacts with its customers. Your work will be instrumental in creating a cohesive customer profile that spans the entire customer lifecycle, from initial interest to long-term loyalty.
What you'll do...
As the Product Manager for Customer Identity, you'll spearhead the strategy, planning, and implementation of an authoritative, accurate, and consistent source of truth for customer identity across Ford Credit. Your role will be pivotal in unifying customer information from all touchpoints and systems, enabling a holistic view of our customers throughout their entire journey with Ford Credit. In this capacity, you'll be expected to:
Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Customer Identity within our Customer and Accounts Data Platform, Customer Identity platform, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and customer needs.
Lead the design and development of Ford Credit's customer identity graph, connecting various customer identifiers to create a unified customer profile.
Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics, privacy, and security teams to design and implement robust identity resolution solutions that can accurately link customer identifiers across various journeys, business units, channels and devices.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and requirements for identity resolution, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of marketing, customer service, product development, and other key stakeholders.
Drive the adoption of identity resolution capabilities across the organization, educating teams on the value and proper use of these tools.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of our identity resolution initiatives.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards in all aspects of identity management.
Define and establish data governance across the organization, while partnering closely with business and x-functional teams including legal, risk, compliance, marketing, operations, and other functions.
Deeply analyze our business processes and define the data quality and stewardship required to make the Customer Identity product successful and to drive adoption.
Write compelling Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories to guide the development of identity resolution features and capabilities.
Act as the product owner in an Agile development environment, prioritizing backlog items and facilitating sprint planning and retrospectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in identity resolution and customer data management and incorporate these insights into our strategy.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and improve AI/ML models for identity resolution and customer segmentation.
You'll have...
5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on identity resolution, customer data platforms, or related fields.
Deep understanding of identity resolution technologies, methodologies, and best practices, including probabilistic and deterministic matching techniques.
Experience working with customer data across various channels, including web, mobile, in-store, and call center interactions.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex data integration, API, and security concepts with engineering teams.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for identity management.
Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), Master Data Management platforms (MDMs), data management platforms (DMPs), Graph Databases, time series data or similar technologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets and translate them into product requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority across various levels of the organization.
Experience in developing and maintaining roadmaps, writing PRDs, and working in an Agile development environment.
Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in customer identity and personalization is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with complementary work experience.
