Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6:30 am - 4:30 pm / OT Available

Job Type: Full-time - Contract to Hire / $16-hour starting wage & Weekly Pay

Requirements: Previous construction experience & Valid Drivers License with reliable transportation

Position Overview: Currently hiring dedicated Construction laborers & Demolition Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for general site cleanup after demolition projects, including loading and transporting materials, sweeping, and vacuuming. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand a career in the construction demolition and environmental remediation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior site cleanup following demolition work.

• Load concrete and other materials into wheelbarrows for transport to dumpsters.

• Haul and dispose of materials following safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping and vacuuming as needed.

Team Info: Leading environmental remediation/demolition firm in the Midwest, providing comprehensive services for both small and large projects. As a member of our team, you will work on various demolition sites, with opportunities to travel to diverse projects if open to travel work.

Travel Requirements:

• 80% of the work is local with optional travel work to locations around the Midwest.

• For overnight stays - per diem will be provided.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have steel-toed boots; jeans and a work-appropriate shirt are required (no cutoff tees).

• No personal PPE is required as all necessary gear will be provided by the company.

• Able to perform manual labor tasks consistently throughout the day.
