Animal Rescue League of Iowa Customer Experience Technician in Des Moines, Iowa

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is seeking full-time Customer Experience Technician to join the Adoptions team at our ARL Main location! This position plays a vital role in providing customer service and facilitating the pet adoption process.

Key Responsibilities include cultivating positive customer experiences to all internal and external customers, assisting customers with the pet adoption process by providing guidance, accurately answering questions, and facilitating customer/animal interactions, reviewing adoption applications, answering telephone calls, helping with retail sales of pet supplies and ARL merchandise, and maintain office supply inventory and accurately complete and electronically file adoption documents.
We are seeking qualified candidates who have a High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in customer service. A qualified candidate will also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills and openness to new ideas, is a self-motivated team player and someone with a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive culture at the ARL.
