Job Title: Payroll Supervisor

LOCATION: Derby, CT

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Payroll Supervisor to oversee the training, development, and supervision of payroll processes and staff. This pivotal role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and reports directly to the Business Manager. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes including the accurate entry and timely transmission of payroll files, execute payroll adjustments, and maintain payroll documentation. Additional responsibilities include managing payroll disputes, IRS and statutory notices, and participating in audits and budget forecasts related to payroll. This full-time role requires presence onsite every day during the first shift.
