Robert Half Business Systems Analyst in Derby, Connecticut

Description We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in DERBY, Connecticut. The primary function of this role will be to improve and manage the organization's processes, design systems, and supervise the upgrade of existing computer systems. This role also involves providing support for software applications and project teams, maintaining a basic understanding of interfaces, and working alongside multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement improvements to organizational processes.

• Design and implement new systems to improve efficiency.

• Supervise the upgrade of existing computer systems and the installation of new ones.

• Define, analyze, and resolve system problems.

• Design, test, and implement standards and solutions for computer systems.

• Provide support to software applications and project teams in recommending, designing, and implementing new IT environment solutions.

• Understand the basic functions of interfaces and design workflow to optimize department efficiencies.

• Serve as a business partner to multiple departments, including but not limited to Billing/Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Registration, Radiology, HIM, Scheduling, Materials Management.

• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously for several departments.

• Perform basic report writing and collaborate with developers for more complex requests. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Business Systems.

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

• Proven experience conducting Gap Analysis.

• Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with Backlog Grooming practices.

• Understanding of Business Process Functions.

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
