GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES: Stock and organize the warehouse rows & shelving areas Pull & prep customer sales orders from warehouse inventory Assemble customer orders, place in Will Call or prepare for Shipment Arrange shipment of some customer orders via UPS, LTL, or other Receive and verify incoming Vendor products - packages and pallets Maintain the Shop / Assembly area in good order and supply Work closely with all personnel in the sales needs & activities Maintain Warehouse in good order and condition - interior and exterior Assist with periodic inventory verification and control

SKILLS AND ABILITIES NECESSARY: Mechanical aptitude for assembly, with good eye-hand coordination Proven ability to follow direction(s) and complete timely tasks Willingness to learn skills in warehouse management and coordination Initiative to take on added tasks and responsibilities within Company Ability to read, follow, and interpret instructions and requirements Ability to use computer system to research sales/receiving information Ability to work with and / or learn the UPS Worldship computer system Good social interaction skills with fellow employees

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Warehouse and Inventory Management experience or background preferred High School or Vocational schooling preferred Veterans encouraged to apply Prior relevant experience and training beneficial Familiar with LTL and UPS Shipping / Packaging methods important Forklift License a PLUS Enthusiastic and energetic person preferred

REQUIREMENTS: Background check may be performed Regularly able to lift heavy boxes and containers up to 65 pounds. Occasionally lifting material above head. Able to move, erect, and climb up and down a ladder. Able to carry loads up or down a ladder. Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete or hard surfaces. Able to use company-supplied hand tools (including wrenches, files, hammers, awls), pneumatic tools, and electric tools. Able to safely operate a table "chop saw". Able to perform repetitive physical tasks, including assembling casters, handtrucks, carts or pallet jacks. Other unspecified items may also require assembly or repair at certain times. Able to read and follow written orders, outlining instructions, or tasks. Able to develop a plan of action to accomplish the activities required by these written instructions and/or tasks. Able to accurately complete within a reasonable timeframe.
