Robert Half Sr. Software Engineer in Denver, Colorado

Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp understanding of the latest web technologies and a strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. The core responsibilities will involve developing, maintaining and enhancing complex front-end applications using React.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and debug software features and enhancements.

  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs.

  • Utilize testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress and Testing Library to ensure software quality.

  • Contribute to applications development using React Native and Expo for mobile-centric projects.

  • Develop new features in Next.js and deploy solutions using Vercel and associated frameworks.

  • Maintain solutions on cloud computing platforms, specifically Google Cloud.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.

  • Extensive experience with React and its core principles.

  • Experienced in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, like Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency with testing libraries such as Jest, Cypress and Testing Library.

Desired:

  • React Native and Expo for mobile app developments.

  • Experience with Next.js, Vercel, and related frameworks.

  • API development using Go or Node.js.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.

  • Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.

  • Experience with shell scripting and automation.
