Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the IT Software industry, located in Denver, Colorado. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks including data mining techniques, accounting functions, budget processes, financial analysis, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize data mining techniques for financial analysis and forecasting

• Oversee and manage accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Conduct regular budget processes and financial analysis to monitor company's financial status

• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite for data analysis and reporting

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and financial modeling

• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and make recommendations

• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements to assess company performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business systems

• Utilize Confluence for project management and CRM for customer relationship management

• Generate and interpret financial reports using Crystal Reports software. Requirements • Proficiency in data mining techniques to extract and analyze data from various sources

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions and principles

• Expertise in budget processes, including planning, tracking, and adjustment

• Strong skills in financial analysis to evaluate company performance and recommend improvements

• Experience with budgeting and forecasting to predict financial outcomes

• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial management software

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and presentation

• Ability to perform variance analysis to identify and explain financial discrepancies

• Experience in handling profit and loss statements, including analysis and interpretation
