Location: Denver, CO Employment Type: Exempt, Regular, Full-Time Manager Position: Yes Reports To: General Counsel or designee Travel: Up to 10% Summary of Functions Forgen's legal department is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to be a part of our collaborative team. You will assist the legal department and project management staff with contract documentation and keeping our projects functioning effectively within our policies. You will champion contract policy and procedure revision and improvement. We are looking for a high performer who has exceptional communication skills and is adaptable, team-oriented, and operates with a high degree of integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Embrace Forgen's Core Values in all aspects of the job. Support the legal department in organizing, drafting and negotiating of contract and subcontract documents. Drive the contracting process and serve as point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers. Manage surety and bond requests and invoice tracking. Assist with processing construction licenses. Assist with insurance claims and certificate of insurance requests. Maintaining contract document organization, including version control, updating, and document security. Review and summarize key commercial terms from contracts and Subcontracts. Recognize and analyze project risk by complying with risk management policies. Assist the legal department and project teams with change management but not limited to change order review and compliance. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good presentation and leadership skills, along with use of independent judgement and creativity applied to resolution of contract and subcontract issues. Experience/Education Minimum of 5-8 years' experience working with contracts and subcontracts and ideally previous construction industry experience. Bachelor's degree in business related field. Be able to stand or walk on a project site for extended durations. When on project sites or if performing some types of work activity wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, earplugs, protective eyewear, gloves, hard hat, steel toed work boots, and high visibility safety apparel.
