Health Care Policy And Financing Social Media Specialist Temp Aide in Denver, Colorado

This is a temporary position that will be 9 months or less depending on the business need.

The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF) oversees and operates Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid Program), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), and other state public health programs for qualified Coloradans. Our mission is to improve health care equity, access and outcomes for the people we serve while saving Coloradans money on health care and driving value for Colorado.

Description of Job

What you will be doing: Gathering data to develop a content strategy for all areas of Colorado, to include content that speaks to Health First Colorado members directly and via partners. Studying local and state social media accounts and attending industry webinars to gain ideas for increasing HCPF post engagement and reporting lessons learned to the Design Team. Brainstorming ways to leverage existing outreach materials to reach partners and members in all Colorado regions via social media. Testing for and reporting on usability of HCPF's digital experience. Tracking and reporting analytics for social media channels and specific campaigns, and analyzing analytics to make frequent improvement suggestions to the Department's social media strategy to increase engagement and followers. Developing a regular reporting strategy for a senior executive audience that reflects outreach successes, challenges, and insights/recommendations. Working with HCPF staff to measure successes of member-focused call-to actions campaigns. Developing and curating social media content. Drafting effective alternative (alt) text. Adding metadata tags to images and templates Compiling digital experience engagement data into visually stunning executive summaries.

Substitutions:

Additional education in marketing, business, visual design, graphic communication, user experience, social media, or similar and experience in content creation will substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Education and Experience

Currently studying with a minimum 3.0 GPA with a focus in marketing, business, content creation, user experience, social media, or similar that includes content creation, research and process work. . OR One year of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar. Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Instagram.
