Serve as functional subject matter expert to provide expertise in Configuration Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Provide strategic direction and guidance for developing a mature CMDB based on the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM). Work closely with IT departments and other stakeholders to design holistic solutions that benefit the enterprise. Following the ServiceNow CSDM, develop and enhance ServiceNow CMDB. Implement and maintain Discovery Patterns, identification and reconciliation engine (IRE) rules, configuration item and service life cycle, implement auxiliary data sources integrations. Build and maintain application service mapping with the use of vertical, tag-based and manual mapping – both for on-premise and cloud estate. Develop and execute data certification and attestation mechanisms and processes. Ensure day-to-day CMDB maintenance and provide sustained support of the of the ServiceNow CMDB, discovery, and integrations. Handle incoming request and incident tickets within expected service levels. Track CMDB health metrics and work to attain CMDB health KPIs at a desired level. Run continuous improvements and extension of CMDB maturity, Discovery engine, patterns, IRE rules, and integrations. Develop Configuration Management and CMDB related processes, create documentation, publish, and maintain related documents. Create and maintain CMDB related dashboards and reports. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union LLC at 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237.Salary: $152,069 - $179,687.50 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or other occupation/position/job title involving information technology.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or other occupation/position/job title involving information technology.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience creating dashboards, reports and data analysis; 2 years of professional experience performing CMDB and Configuration Management Development, CI discovery, and integrations with ServiceNow CMDB module; 2 years of professional experience utilizing IT Service Management (including Service Configuration Management and Asset Management practices); 2 years of professional experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, Configuration Management Service Mapping, ServiceNow Discovery, identification and reconciliation engine (IRE) rules, configuration item and service life cycle; and 2 years of professional experience implementing, improving and maintaining CMDB based on the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Annual base salary gross:  $152,069 - $179,687.50 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
