Your Opportunity

This role involves managing projects throughout the organization, encompassing both domestic and international activities. The nature of these projects will vary over time and is likely to be diverse, but generally focused on the Investments and Operational functions of our business such as transformational activity across our Back, Middle and Front Office operating model, with specific focus on Fund Accounting and Custody services. The role holder will need to work across different parts of the business to deliver such changes.

This role will be accountable to the Operational Transformation Program Manager for the US based in Denver, CO.

  • Develop, execute, and manage global-scale project plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation and budget management across different regions and time zones.

  • Control the scope of projects, managing dependencies including assessing regulatory requirements and ensuring that these are met by maintaining the critical path

  • Experience in overseeing Back-Office and Middle-Office project transitions, specifically in migrating business processes and technologies from legacy to new Third Party Administrators.

  • Adhere to the change and transformation project lifecycle, including maintenance of plans, briefs, risks and issues, dependency tracking and other relevant reporting artifacts (including the preparation of key project documentation/templates such as RAID Log, Dashboard)

  • Create project organization/structure, including roles, responsibilities, and governance

  • Drive stakeholder engagement across projects, and develop and deliver an effective communication plan both externally and internally for regional and global activities throughout the project

  • Chair Working Group(s) as required, present progress, highlight issues, challenge and drive decisions - ensure relevant content is brought to the groups for discussion

  • Ensure any resources including external vendors are managed and resourced to be able to deliver successfully; drive prioritization as appropriate

  • Serve as a catalyst for change during service transitions by promoting the advantages, guiding the organization through the transition, and reducing resistance.

  • Monitor transition progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project objectives are met within scope and timeline

  • Develop, track and manage project costs

  • Represent the firm on industry forums where appropriate

    Must have skills

  • Demonstrated success in managing global projects with a keen ability to coordinate across multiple regions and time zones

  • Robust and proven track record as a Project Manager

  • Strong leader, equally comfortable facing off to Working and Steering Groups, challenging stakeholders, directing and motivating a cross-business team

  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Teams, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Formal certifications are requested, except where equivalent project management experience can be demonstrated

  • Highly organised with executive-level communication skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – the ability to work across all levels of the organization

  • A rolled-up sleeve positive and delivery focused approach

    Nice to have skills

  • Candidates with specialized experience in managing Back-Office and Middle-Office projects, particularly those involving collaboration with Third Party Administrators.

  • A strong emphasis on Fund Administration and Custody projects is highly desirable.

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through September 30, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
