Shift Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday: 5:00pm - 5:30am Wednesday: 5:00pm- 9:30pm Overtime required based on business needs

Job Purpose and Overview As a Maintenance Tech III, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, equipment and electrical devices for a 11-line food manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The most qualified candidate will be responsible for keeping lines running, maintaining the equipment, and improving upon existing processes..

What Does It Take to be a Maintenance Technician III at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of mechanic experience, food manufacturing a plus Experience installing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic devices used in low voltage, 3phase 208/230/480V, power distribution, control wiring, etc. Able to, or capability of learning to, use shop toolsand equipment such as lathe, drill press, cutting torch, welder (sanitary TIG a plus), hand drill, reciprocating saw, grinder, etc. Use electrical drawings and parts diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with HVAC, steam generators, air compressors, wastewater treatment, inkjet printers, VFDs, HMIs, PLCs, modulating valves, conveyors, scraped surface heat exchangers, and similar equipment. Possess and utilize personal toolset

What will you do as a Maintenance Technician III at Dawn Foods? Works safely and fosters a culture of safety Establishes good communication with all Dawn team members. Maintains and demonstrates a positive and consistent attitude. Works closely with other departments to maintain an efficient operation Answers floor calls to investigate and resolve issues. Communicates with Lead/Supervisor if the issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner. Addresses issues as they arise and responds to team members in a timely manner. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned. Completes scheduled work orders on time. Responsible for logging work into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Asks questions to fully understand expectations. Follows up with management staff members to ensure alignment when needed. Notifies the maintenance supervisor or manager of any concerns regarding team members or other personnel. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts as needed. Troubleshoots, installs and repairs electrical devices as needed. Maintains hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and HVAC equipment as needed which may include repairs to and replacement of gauges, valves, pressure regulators etc. Repairs and maintains facility as needed. Assures that all repairs and preventative maintenance are done in compliance with GMP's, IFS standards, and SOP's to ensure food safety. Assists other departments as needed in troubleshooting issues that may impact food safety or personnel safety. Other duties as assigned
