Position Description

Pay: $19.06/hour

Work Schedule: M-F 2nd shift; Full-time @ 30 hrs per week

Full Time employees supporting contracts for the Federal government that are covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) earn fringe benefits according to their Wage Determination. OBJECTIVE:

To assist the Supervisor by assigning employees their daily duties, overseeing their work and assisting in the upkeep of assigned areas. Lead and train others to use various janitorial equipment and supplies and perform specific assigned janitorial duties while ensuring contract standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

HIGH School Diploma or Equivalent. A valid Colorado driver’s license without a history of violations is also required with the ability to travel when required. Must be 18 years or older.

Must conduct self in a professional manner conducive to a product work environment; demonstrate good judgment, responsibility and initiative. Should possess effective interpersonal skills including the ability to lead people, work cooperatively, to organize work and make good decisions. The incumbent must maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the work setting. The Lead I must be able to work with people with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions. You will report to work prepared to accomplish duties as assigned and consistently communicate areas of concern or issues in an appropriate and timely manner to the Supervisor for resolution. Maintain open communication at all times in relationship with supervisors, work leaders and customers as well as perform other duties as assigned.

The incumbent must be able to work some weekends and holidays, work flexible shifts and pass background check.

*Criminal Background Requirement: The Contractor shall maintain proof of Criminal background check record for each employee via email.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

• Provide guidance to assigned employees and trainees who work within the department to accomplish the upkeep of contract requirements.

• Ensure all Statement of Work (SOW) are completed prior to the end of each shift, reporting all areas that need to be changed in the SOW to Supervisor. The Lead I will remain with employees until all tasks are completed.

• Know how to work with Quality Inspectors, Building Managers, and customers in all buildings.

• Train assigned personnel on the use of the various equipment and supplies, assign work to the most appropriate personnel and control all duty-related activities of assigned personnel.

• Perform all necessary janitorial duties assigned during the shift in accordance with the Statement of work, quality procedures are adhered to, conduct a physical inventory of janitorial supplies on a weekly basis and submit it to the Supervisor..

• Attend training as required for job specific requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
