The 2025 summer internships occur from June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025 in the Denver, CO.

Your opportunity

  • Respond to client needs and requests. Utilize information provided by the sales team to further develop business opportunities in a team-based approach

  • Follow up with our Sales Team in a timely manner

  • Generate client mailings and e-mails related to company products and thought leadership information

  • Maintain departmental databases as well as client mailing lists, ensuring updated information

  • Support departmental sales goals and territorial objectives by working closely with Internal Sales Consultants and Regional Sales Directors

  • Perform a variety of administrative activities including coordinating client meetings, generating sales reports, and ordering literature materials as required

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

    Must have skills

  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship

  • Looking for candidates who are passionate about the mutual fund/financial services industry

  • Must be able to provide own local accommodations and transportation

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to develop strategic business relationships

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Must have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision

    Nice to have skills

  • Incoming juniors and seniors highly preferred

  • Intermediate knowledge of mutual fund/financial industry products and services

    You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm, and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.

    Compensation information

    The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role is not eligible for housing assistance. This position will be posted until December 21, 2024.
