"Our client, a national construction/real estate company, is looking for a Internal Communications Specialist with event experience to join their team mid-November through February 2025 with the possibility to extend or go full-time for the right fit. This role is 40 hours per week and ideally hybrid onsite 1-2 days per week at one of their hubs: Houston, Nashville, Denver, and Phoenix.Internal Communications Responsibilities (Events):-Support the regional execution of an internal communications plan-Manage the process of drafting, reviewing, and distributing employee communications materials, including newsletters, presentations, project case studies, articles, and executive messages-Liaise with other departments and company leadership to ensure the quality and accuracy of communications materials-Deliver thoughtful, timely, and insightful messages across the company's internal communications channels-Support the internal dissemination of proprietary research materials, including market intelligence reports, research reports and insight articles-Responsible for the overall design and illustrative/graphic/visuals for the USA roadshow. Including print and digital marketing, promotional campaigns, and client-facing materials-Support internal virtual and in-person events, including logistics, promotion, and tracking Event management:-Work with the Head of Marketing to develop a roadshow strategy and coordinate internal events across the USA at each of our offices.-Manage the execution of the strategy including working with local hub offices to obtain approvals, secure venues, enlist speakers and attendees, liaise with vendors/suppliers, manage budgets and invoicing, and working with local employees and ,marketing teams on execution (logistics, promotion, reporting, and the creation of any related materials).-Working with regional Communications and marketing team members, manage marketing, promotions, and communications strategy for all events.-Partner with territory-based marketing professionals and operations staff to ensure events are properly managed, attended and tracked.-Conclude events by hosting debrief sessions with attendees to understand improvements and ROI-Compile and maintain a tracker for events that provides details on dates, costs, locations, marketing support required, leads and ROI for each event. Qualifications (Events): -3+ years of experience working in a Communications/PR role-Bachelor's degree in communications, or a related field-Exceptional business writing, editing, and communications skills; detail oriented with an eye for design and graphics-Strong copywriting skills and ability to identify and shape key messages-Excellent project management, organizational and problem-solving skills-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, with an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
