Actalent HYBRID Preconstruction Manager in DENVER, Colorado
Description:
We are currently seeking a 8+ year Preconstruction Manager or Director that has experience with commercial or industrial projects (NOT multifamily or single family)
The Preconstruction Manager manages a team of preconstruction estimators, directs, coordinates and participates in the preparation of assigned estimates based on an Owner's/Architect's designs through construction documents
They are responsible for all functions that may be required during preconstruction including value engineering, schedules, logistics, procurement, and comparative studies
You will plan, coordinate, direct, build/maintain relationships with subcontractors, and vendors ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified
Based in Denver, CO

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, and/or 10+ years of applicable estimating, design management and/or field management experience
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Experience managing people (not just projects)
Demonstrates experience in leadership in a team and client environment
Knowledge and understanding of construction strategy and contracts
Thorough knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices, including sustainable building practices
Ability to conceptualize a project using minimal information and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of the Owner/Architect requirements
Ability to provide an imaginative and innovative approach to improve the project
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with On-Screen Take-off, Microsoft 365 Suite and Project
Pre-engineered Metal Building (PEMB) experience a plus
