Description:

• We are currently seeking a 8+ year Preconstruction Manager or Director that has experience with commercial or industrial projects (NOT multifamily or single family)

• The Preconstruction Manager manages a team of preconstruction estimators, directs, coordinates and participates in the preparation of assigned estimates based on an Owner's/Architect's designs through construction documents

• They are responsible for all functions that may be required during preconstruction including value engineering, schedules, logistics, procurement, and comparative studies

• You will plan, coordinate, direct, build/maintain relationships with subcontractors, and vendors ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified

• Based in Denver, CO

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, and/or 10+ years of applicable estimating, design management and/or field management experience

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

• Experience managing people (not just projects)

• Demonstrates experience in leadership in a team and client environment

• Knowledge and understanding of construction strategy and contracts

• Thorough knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices, including sustainable building practices

• Ability to conceptualize a project using minimal information and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of the Owner/Architect requirements

• Ability to provide an imaginative and innovative approach to improve the project

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Familiarity with On-Screen Take-off, Microsoft 365 Suite and Project

• Pre-engineered Metal Building (PEMB) experience a plus
