Autodesk Hardware Asset Support Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Position Overview

The hardware asset management support specialist is responsible for assisting with the lifecycle of hardware assets within the organization, including forecasting, demand management, procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance, disposal, and replacement

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure, deliver, and decommission hardware assets

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware assets, including specifications, locations, ownership, warranties, licenses, and service agreements.

  • Conduct regular audits and physical inventories of hardware assets, and reconcile any discrepancies or issues.

  • Monitor and report on the performance, utilization, and availability of hardware assets, and identify opportunities for optimization, consolidation, or upgrade.

  • Manage the disposal and replacement of obsolete, damaged, or surplus hardware assets, in compliance with the organization's policies and environmental regulations.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in hardware and recommend improvements or innovations.

  • Compiles and analyzes financial & hardware assets information. Develops integrated analyses, projections, forecasts, and dashboards.

  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial & hardware assets information has been recorded accurately.

  • Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, reporting as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field preferred.

  • At least three years of experience in hardware asset management, IT asset management, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of hardware asset management principles, processes, and tools.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other software applications for hardware asset management ex. PowerBi.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $75,500 and $130,350. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
