Overview

TRC is looking for a Geospatial Data Management Specialist to provide technical expertise in data management, data integration and data publication for a federal client. The Geospatial Data Management Specialist creates content, manages the SDE, and publishes services for internal and public use. **This role will report to the Lakewood, CO office. Responsibilities

  • Maintain expert knowledge of GIS concepts and analytical techniques, including computerized mapping and digital data conversion, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Development of digital maps and relational data (tabular output/acreage tables) produced at a professional quality suitable for presentation in project reports, or other display purposes, within the framework specified by the client.
  • QC data and ensure data integrity prior to publication.
  • Management of data and files associated with interim and final products of analyses.
  • Construction and maintenance of project databases that include all data and derived products, with appropriate analysis process documentation.
  • Completion of standard compliant metadata documentation for all data and services developed.
  • Publication of datasets for internal and external consumption via a variety of platforms including web pages, data portals, story maps, and custom applications.
  • Occasionally assist with data processing and QA/QC of processed datasets according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in the migration of data from on-premise infrastructure to a hosted environment. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience deploying and troubleshooting Esri's ArcGIS System (Pro, Portal, Server, Web-Adaptor) software, including 5 years of experience working with versions of the software released within the p

  • Experience with publishing services and SDE data management
  • Working knowledge of process automation using scripts
  • BA/BS degree in Geography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Team player that exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
