Administrative Solutions
Administrative Solutions (AS) provides management and oversight for key administrative and technical services that enables CDHS to achieve their goals. It is responsible for a number of support functions to make our agency as efficient, effective, and impactful as possible. Administrative Solutions comprises Human Resources; Facilities Management; Audit; Business Innovation, Technology & Security; Emergency Management; Legal; Performance Management; Communications; Project Management; and Leadership & Organizational Development.
Business Innovation, Technology and Security
Business Innovation, Technology, and Security (CBMS) is responsible for managing the Department’s information technology (IT) providers, including relations with the Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) and other agencies. The division serves as the main point of contact for departmental issues involving technology resources and needs and coordinates activities with the program staff for IT support, operations, maintenance, modernization, and implementation of new IT systems.

About this Position:
This position provides high-level administrative and technical support which involves assisting the CBMS Product Director and CBMS team at CDHS, as well as internal and external customers by applying knowledge of and/or interpreting basic principles, rules, regulations, policies, precedents, other guidelines and objectives specific to CBMS program to resolve problems, answer questions and provide information, and/or advise others on technical program issues or matters for the CBMS. This includes planning and organizing various meetings for staff, compiling data, and preparing management reports. The position is responsible for identifying office problems or areas that need strengthening and the development of action plans to correct issues identified. This position provides support to all units reporting to the Program Director, including customer service issues, technical support, and improving relations with state employees.
Summary of Job Duties:
Product Owner Support
Works independently on a variety of functions and tasks for the Division Director on a daily basis. Executes a broad range of high-level office, administrative, and technical support to the CBMS Director.
Office Coordinator and Program Support
Provides a broad range of administrative, clerical, and technical operations support to the CBMS Director and the CBMS Team.
Budget/ Travel Manager
Manages in-state and out-of-state travel requests for Director, and Managers as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
Option 1 (Minimum Qualifications)
Five (5) years of experience in office administrative duties related to the work assigned to the position

Conditions of Employment:
Standard Background – Name check, TRAILS, CMS and JBITS
Travel – Travels to CDHS sites and other locations as needed in support of Division activities.
