Creative Services Producer
KDVR-FOX31 and Colorado’s CW2 are looking for a talented and self-motivated Creative Services Producer to fulfill a unique and exciting role at our stations in beautiful Denver, Colorado.
This position requires a highly motivated, organized, and creative individual, who serves as the point person with community partners and directs all activities related to station events, while also producing best in class branding, programming and news promos as assigned.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Creative Services Director, conceive, write, produce, shoot and edit compelling on-air promotions that fit the brand of each station.
Work in tandem with the Creative Services Director and Promotion Manager to develop and maintain strategic relationships with external partners and clients focused on promoting and maintaining community outreach, special events and corporate community efforts, along with writing, editing and producing promos in support of such engagement opportunities.
Serve as primary point of contact for key station events, and liaise with community partners to manage client objectives, expectations and timelines and clearly communicate and oversee all community efforts to both internal and external audiences. Mobilize and complete all project deliverables.
Requirements and Skills
Minimum 2 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a local station working in a news environment.
Experience organizing and overseeing community events and working with community partners. Understand staffing and resource requirements to execute successful community projects within reasonable budgets and timelines.
Must have the ability to work flexible hours including some weekends to attend station events.
Strong non-linear editing skills, including experience in After Effects and Photoshop.
Possess strong video production skills utilizing Sony, Canon and Blackmagic cameras.
Knowledge and experience working on station promotion logs (Wide Orbit) as assigned.
Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time.
Work with Adobe Premier and a variety of cameras to complete on-air projects.
Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends when needed.
Possess excellent communication, presentation, organization and time management skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
