Shermco U.S. is seeking a Commissioning Manager

Commissioning Manager

Shermco Industries is seeking a Senior Level Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of new systems/facilities. The Commissioning Manager will oversee all aspects of the commissioning process, assembling reports and procedures, overseeing schedule and managing cost related to commissioning, supervising commissioning team, and working with vendors and contractors. Candidate shall be responsible for the following: Supporting project team on pre-commissioning and commissioning items Overseeing, assembling, and preparing all commissioning procedures and reports Managing Commissioning and Startup Team Managing schedule, quality, and cost of commissioning scope Ensuring work is executed safely and per procedures and standards Coordinating with Contractor, Vendors, and Client KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

At a minimum, Candidate shall have experience managing commissioning in large industrial facilities. Candidate shall demonstrate experience in the tasks listed in the summary section above. Candidate shall also have the following experience: Preferred bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience Experience supervising and coordinating large teams of people with multiple contractors Experience in project and contract management Experience with and ability to understand Mechanical, Electrical and Controls aspects of project, including reading drawings, understanding specifications, and familiarity with standards Experience working with Microsoft Office Experience working with Primavera or Microsoft Project (preferred) Strong emphasis on safety and following procedures and regulations Candidate shall have excellent communication skills
