The AWS Specialist & Partner (ASP) organization provides a unified, outstanding experience to customers working with partners. Our organization supports over 150,000 partners worldwide; our partners are our customers and we establish long-term, durable relationships to achieve success together. Within the ASP is Partner Foundations (APF), which includes two distinct organizations, Partner Core and ASP Tech. Partner Core is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing the AWS Partner Network (APN) value exchange with AWS. ASP Tech is comprised of technical advisors to Partners in the APN and our customers to enable solution-led capabilities at scale.
We are seeking a sales operations lead to join our globally distributed APF Operations team, aligned to our ASP Partner Foundations organization leaders, teams, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will function in a highly collaborative and cross-functional role, working with the several stakeholders supporting the extended AWS Specialist & Partner (ASP) organization.
You are a proactive and action-oriented self-starter who can effectively navigate ambiguity and manage competing objectives in a lean, fast-paced organization. You will be able to earn trust through relationship building and measurable performance. You will think strategically and analytically about business challenges, and possess a deep analytical background that contributes to Partner Core’s success in meeting its business objectives. Your work will directly impact the strategy and decisions of the AWS Partner Organization that will better serve our customers in their journey to the cloud.
Key job responsibilities
• Be a hands-on business partner to various Partner Core Foundations lines-of-businesses, owning and delivering results through our operational pillars: Rhythm of the Business (RoB), Annual Planning, and Business Analytics & Insights.
• Drive predictability through management of rhythm of the business activities, such as weekly, monthly, quarterly business and financial reviews, and other business cadences.
• Build and manage end-to-end goal planning mechanisms (e.g. defining goals, forecasting, target setting, distribution, operationalize tracking, attainment, and get-to-green plans).
• Create, implement, automate, and drive standardization, adoption, and enablement of business processes, tools, and/or reporting, templates, methods, and cadences.
• Identify and eliminate ineffective controls and procedures, while continuously driving productivity improvements and sharing best practices.
• Dive deep and conduct analysis of complex historic data, variances, trends, to identify and mitigate gaps/risks/impact and uncover opportunities, and translate into actionable deliverables and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders and Partner Intelligence team to ascertain business asks/needs, and to drive standardization, prioritization and automation of metrics, data, reporting, and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and earn trust with Partner Foundations stakeholders, Partner Management, COEs, Field Sales, Finance, HR, other peer organizations and business partners.
• Serve as point of contact for escalations and facilitate resolutions.
• Deliver on ad-hoc reporting requests, projects, initiatives, and/or analysis, as needed.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in sales planning/strategy, and/or sales operations, finance, business development, or business management in mid-to-large scale global sales organization
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
Understanding of cloud economics and/or experience working with cloud services
2+ years’ experience using CRM and business intelligence tools to develop data and dashboards (e.g. Salesforce, Anaplan, QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Domo); ability to write and debug SQL queries
Experience in preparing and presenting data-driven documents, communicating complex concepts, and translating the results into actionable insights, deliverables, and outcomes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
