Litigation Attorney

Our client, a construction litigation firm in Denver, is searching for a 4+ years’ Litigation Attorney to join their growing legal defense team. This attorney will manage a caseload of construction defect (defense) litigation and general liability matters. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Take depositions and attend mediations and other legal proceedings

· Conduct factual research

· Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal correspondence

· Advise clients on case strategy

· Manage caseload independently with the support of the firm’s Partners

· Communicate with clients and their insurers

· Direct and implement the case handling strategy

· Attend court proceedings and settlement conferences

· Try cases when necessary

Candidates with 3+ years of defense litigation (preferably construction defect) experience in Colorado is preferred. Our client does offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Requirements • Must possess a valid license to practice law in the given jurisdiction

• Proficiency in Defense Litigation and Construction Defect is required

• Experience with Defending Depositions is essential

• Ability to draft and review Legal Briefs

• Experience in Preparing Pleadings is necessary

• Demonstrated skills in Legal Research and Case Management

• Expertise in Construction Law and Construction Litigation is preferred

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• High degree of professional ethics and integrity

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Proficient in legal research tools and software

• Ability to maintain client confidentiality

• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Strong understanding of court procedures and rules.
