Basic Job Functions:
The Assistant General Manager assists in directing service center operations through a team of warehouse and customer service personnel. The position ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving service center efficiency. Additional Functions:
Works closely with all other departments to leverage the total capabilities of the company in creating A Better Experience for our family of C.H.I. Dealers.
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
Coordinates sales with operations and customer service.
Insures all employees perform their tasks in a safe manner
Balances work capacity across the warehouse
Determines operations head count needs and ensures compliance with company policies
Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects
Manages compliance with state and federal regulations
Capable of performing all warehouse positions and being willing to seep into different positions as needed
Completes any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor
Assisting the Supervisor in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy

Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of previous sales and/or management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in sales and/ or management is preferred.
