Job Title: After School Coordinator FLSA Status: Full Time - Exempt Reports to: Center Director Schedule: M-F, 9-5:30 Supervises: After School Staff Rate of Pay: $58,240/ year Closing Date: 08/06/2024 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following: Health, vision, dental, life as well as voluntary life and disability insurance Sick leave benefit - 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire) Vacation benefit - 20 vacation days per year, accrued at the rate of .0769 hours for each hour worked (accrual begins at hire but may not be used until the completion of six months of employment) One floating day off for use (accrued immediately, and again annually, but may not be used until the completion of the initial three-month introductory period of employment) Pension Plan (after one year of continuous service) Voluntary Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan (403(b)plan) Function: The On-Site After School Director manages the programmatic operations of the Corps' After School and summer Program. This includes maintaining the Divisional standards, as well as supervision of the staff and daily programmatic elements of the After School and summer programs. In this position the Director will plan and implement with after-school staff, track supply needs and program budgets, and development and implement the summer camp curriculum. The After School Director is responsible to ensure proper record keeping, parental permissions, program goals, outcome documentation, and health and safety standards. Program Management Program Staffing Curriculum and Program Schedule Outcome Evaluation Other Functions Duties and Responsibilities: Program Management The Program Director provides the local supervision of the Corps' After School Program collaborating and will be given supervised guidance and direction from local Officers and Center Director to meet the needs of the Corps. This means managing the After School Program Aides and program implementation and maintaining close contact with the Corps Officers to continually support and equip the after-school and summer program staff and operations. The Program Director will fully participate in the normal implementation of the program and will directly interact with students daily.

Other Program Management responsibilities Administer a program to ensure they meet or exceed the legal requirements for staffing, facility, nutrition, safety, etc. in regard to Colorado Department of Social Service's and Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Licensing rules and regulations. Adhere to Social Service Guidelines. Report official incidents, recorded and process information with the, Center Director, Corps Officers and Divisional Director. Supervise program site staff and manage daily enrichment activities. Demonstrated success developing, implementing and evaluating innovative programs Communicate professionally with staff and parents via handbooks, e-news, social media, emails, fliers and phone. Strong skills managing multifaceted program resulting in measurable successes and program growth. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate effectively to both internal and external audiences. Promote, collaborate, and market by attending community gatherings, and establishing relationships with neighborhood schools within your area. Attending weekly Director's meetings and report to the Divisional Director.

Program Staffing Provides supervision for the after school and summer staff so that they are supported and adequately trained to do their jobs. The After School Director is responsible to ensure appropriate staffing levels for the students always. They will recommend all hiring and firing of program staff to the Center Director, Officers. They will personally exemplify the program's highest standards and program goal . Program Staffing responsibilities are: Provide or arrange training for and supervise staff for the after-school program. Strength in recruiting, hiring, managing, developing, and retaining individuals, empowering teams to elevate their levels of responsibility, and performance Work closely with the Volunteer program to ensure volunteer needs are communicated for growth of services. Conduct regular meetings with child care staff individually and as a group for supervision, team building, communication, activity planning, program implementation, issue clarification, etc.

Curriculum and Program Schedule Maintain the standardized, Divisional curriculums and schedule for the after-school and summer program. They will monitor the effectiveness of both and keep Corps and Divisional leadership informed of any issues or challenges. They will be directly involved with the students themselves in the day-to-day conducting of the program curriculum components.
