This position is part of the Global Commercial Enablement Department and will be onsite at one of our locations in Coralville, Iowa, Boulder, Colorado, or Raliegh, North Carolina. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop, execute and evaluate sales training programs and support training materials using multiple learning platforms (i.e. e-Learning, virtual, on-demand self-paced, and experiential learning opportunities). Recommend new perspective on existing solutions to complete the design and development of all web-based, virtual, and on-the-job materials. Build a plan into each learning project for evaluating the successful achievement of training outcomes.

• Conduct sales training in selling skills and IDT’s processes to support new and existing associates globally and that training is aligned with departmental standard work and procedures. Observes sales encounters and collects feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions.

• Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to the sales process, develops individual coaching plans, provides resources and assistance, and schedules onboarding product training as needed.

• Build collaborative and consultative relationships with subject matter experts and peers to identify problems, using new and/or existing solutions to build and deliver effective training.

• Collaborate with all partners to utilize DBS for ongoing process improvement. Solicit feedback from training and collaboration participants to be used as part of DBS’ Continuous Process Improvement.

  The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration adult learning theory, or related field AND 7+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in business administration, adult learning theory, or related field AND 5+ years of relevant experience OR PhD in business administration, adult learning theory or related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience.

• "Relevant experience" is defined as experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or other relevant position

  Travel Requirements:

• This position requires up to XX% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Professional certifications in sales training

• Previous experience with IDT, another Danaher Operating Company, or in the Life Science or Biotech industry

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales or customer experience

• Previous experience designing and delivering professional training, especially sales trainings

  The annual salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

  This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
