University Of Denver Adjunct Faculty, Graduate Tax Program, Sturm College Of Law in Denver, Colorado

This is a general posting that will serve to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.

The Graduate Tax Program at Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses for the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters of the 2024-2025 academic year. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct Faculty are required to comply with all Law School and University policies and protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.

Required Qualifications Law degree or advanced degree in taxation. Previous teaching experience. Ability to teach at a graduate level. Professional experience in taxation. Preferred Qualifications LL.M.(Tax) or MT degree. Work Schedule

While the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. Application Deadline

Applications for this position will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the 2024-2025 Academic year. This position will remain open until filled.

Course Rate

The course rate for this position is $5,559.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
