Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist in the Manufacturing industry, based in Denver, Colorado. This role provides an opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and plays an integral part in the management and organization of customer accounts and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintaining up-to-date customer credit records.

• Regular monitoring of customer accounts and initiating required action.

• Handling customer inquiries, providing timely and relevant solutions.

• Organizing and saving accounts payable invoices and statements in the A/P folder.

• Routine retrieval and distribution of reports from the accounting printer.

• Regular updating of vehicle files and managing related insurance requirements.

• Assisting with clerical responsibilities across various departments as required.

• Managing annual file changes for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

• Handling of Accounts Payable checks for weekly mailing.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Coding Invoices

• Knowledge of Purchase Orders Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Accounts Payable

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) practices and procedures

• Demonstrated ability in Coding Invoices

• Experience with handling Purchase Orders

• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry operations

• Proficiency in using various accounting software and tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Strong understanding of general ledger functions.
