Description We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in the IT Software industry, located in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and the billing process, processing payments, and liaising between our team and customers to address any billing queries or issues. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately generate and dispatch invoices and bills.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of billing.

• Update account balances and process customer payments.

• Address customer complaints and questions related to billing promptly and accurately.

• Manage account balances and resolve any discrepancies.

• Assist in account reconciliation activities.

• Regularly conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of billing.

• Prepare and present analyses and reports on billing activity.

• Maintain up-to-date records of all billing transactions.

• Work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, using skills such as Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Ensure all receivables are collected in accordance with company policies.

• Utilize skills in Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing to ensure efficient operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Proficiency in Billing procedures and practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in task execution.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and regulatory standards.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
