The Tru ck Sales Engineer is a vital part of our sales enablement team, playing a crucial role in driving revenue and providing technical expertise and support to our sales staff and customers. This position involves collaborating with sales personnel and clients to understand their needs, recommending appropriate truck specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Additionally, the role requires liaising with truck manufacturers to stay current on technical updates and deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer requirements for truck specifications.

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers, helping them select the right truck models and configurations based on their specific needs.

  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and detailed technical presentations and proposals to customers.

  • Work closely with the OEMs’ engineering and product development teams to stay updated on the latest product offerings and technical advancements.

  • Conduct on-site visits and assessments to better understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Collaborate with truck manufacturers to ensure the feasibility and customization of truck specifications as per client requirements.

  • Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.

  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and expand our network

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of truck specifications, configurations, and applications.

  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

  • Consideration is given to relevant experience and related certification.
