ADAPTIVE CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS INC General Laborers (DENTON) in Denton, Texas
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborers. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on job sites, supporting construction workers, and helping maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Help with site preparation (e.g., digging, setting up scaffolding).
- Perform general maintenance, such as cleaning and organizing tools and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Assist with demolition and material disposal when required.
- Other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, 50lbs repeatedly throughout shift.
- Proficient with hand and power tools: Saw, hammers, drills, read a measuring tape.
- Comfortable with assisting in different job duties, including cleaning.
- Able to work in all-weather elements, as some jobs will be outdoors while others will be indoors.
- Must be able to work 5 to 12 hours workday shifts.
- Flexible with coming in early and staying late based on job site -deadline.
- Drug Free work environment - must pass drug test and background check.
