City Of Delta Part Time Municipal Service Worker in Delta, Colorado
POSITION: Municipal Service Worker
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This position is a big part in creating the City of Delta s overall positive experience for the City residence and visitor by performs a wide variety of unskilled/skilled maintenance and construction work on city parks, cemetery and other public facilities.
REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
Six months of general labor experience preferred.
Experience with labor hand tools.
Experience with power tools a plus.
Experience with driving a dump truck or other large motor vehicles a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver s License.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid Colorado Commercial Driver s License (Class B with tanker validation) or able to obtain license within first six months of employment. Will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
WAGE: Hourly Wage Range $17.62 - $23.00
SHIFT: Part Time.
JOB SITE: Ability to work in all weather conditions. Ability to work safely with many distractions. Ability to work in noisy, dirty and wet environments. Ability to wear PPE as required.
