POSITION: Data Entry Clerk - Credentialing Support
The Data Entry Clerk will play a key role in supporting the credentialing process for Delta Health's medical staff. Working closely with the Medical Staff Coordinator and Insurance Specialist, this position is responsible for accurately managing and entering provider information into the credentialing software. The role ensures the integrity and compliance of provider credentials for both internal staff and external health plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Accurately input and update records for new and existing medical providers into the Modio database and CAQH, including provider details such as personal information, education, training, work history, affiliations, licensure, malpractice history, certifications, healthcare payers, and continuing medical education credits. * Monitor and manage provider alerts within the Modio database, tracking expirations of licensure, DEA registration, insurance, board certifications, and educational certifications, as well as upcoming privilege renewals. * Assist the Medical Staff Coordinator with the credentialing and re-credentialing process for medical providers, including reviewing applications, peer evaluations, facility affiliations, and conducting background checks.
REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. * Demonstrated experience in data entry or administrative support within a healthcare setting. * Proficient in data management software, with strong computer skills. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
WAGE: $15.15 - $21.89/per hour depending on qualifications.
SHIFT: Day shift, 8 hours per day.
