Purpose

Security Analyst has duties and responsibilities which directly affect the overall security posture and well-being of US Government programs at Teleperformance (TP). The successful candidate will be responsible for security governance, by taking ownership of security of the assigned program(s), ensuring to coordinate with various internal and external teams, including clients, TP Management, various Information Technology teams, Operations, Facilities, and Administrative departments. The Analyst will ensure compliance with corporate security policies, standards, and processes and is responsible for the implementation of IT security best practices, client and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of IT security principles, application of controls in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) and is able to easily articulate that understanding to others to improve the security posture of the programs. The Analyst grasps and applies advanced concepts and stays abreast of new tools, technologies, and techniques, and implements them as solutions to business and technical problems. The Analyst will actively seek opportunities to develop new approaches to meet new goals, while maintaining secured posture for the environment.

The Security Analyst is expected to be solution-oriented, and able to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment where logical solution is provided to balance client requirements and business need.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Work as TP Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and security liaison between TP and US Government clients and/or US Government vendor clients for the assigned program(s).

  • Work as TP in-house consultant with internal and external security assessors, by managing all aspects of the required engagement, including scoping, discovery, testing, remediation and closure of findings, and reporting.

  • Serve as liaison between Information Technology, Operations, and Administrative departments to maximize the adoption of and support for security plans and procedures within the organization.

  • Provide leadership in the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of technical, administrative, and physical security controls to protect sensitive information and assets.

  • Perform risk assessments to identify security gaps and determine appropriate risk mitigation strategy with controls that are suitable for the business.

  • Works with global IT security team in the creation of policies, procedures, or guidelines to ensure the security and privacy of information and computer systems for TP.

  • Align current business processes with contractual requirements using published TP policies and standards, industry best practices, and processes.

  • Review Statements of Work (SOW), Master Service Agreements (MSA), and other contracts for security obligations and identify areas of exposure.

  • Reports to the TP Information Security Manager, Government Services and completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work/military experience.

  • 2+ years of Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security Operations, or Risk Management experience.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks US NIST 800 series, , and other industry best practices and standards, including but not limited to ISO2700, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR (and US state equivalence), etc.

  • Knowledge and work experience in implementing general principles of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Risk Management Framework (RMF), or relevant work experience in IT security operations, Audit, or Business Continuity, however other IT disciplines are eligible.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of regulated environment. Some experience with Government or government-related businesses or other regulated industries (financial, pharmaceutical, health care, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills. Able to listen, assess, and manage interactions in a cross-functional manner with internal and external teams and Stakeholders.

  • Strong analytic/problem-solving skills. Able to understand technical information in moderate to complex IT architectures, and also comfortable determining overall risk to business operations.

  • One or more of the following certifications is highly preferred: CISA, CISM, Security+, and CISSP.
