PLC Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrical Specialist (Maintenance Electrician) for a corrugated box plant in Delaware. The role involves working as a Maintenance Technician, supporting the plant's operations. There are 2 openings on the 3rd shift, with initial training on the 1st shift. Responsibilities include responding to line calls and maintaining the preventative maintenance program.

Pay Rate: $36.05/hr. (plus .26 shift differential)

Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 30 days and $500 after 6 months

Retention Bonus: $500 after 1 year, with an additional lump sum after 2 years

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (3rd shift 11pm-7am, Monday-Friday with O.T. on Saturdays)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Delaware, Ohio.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment where candidates will be responsible for the upkeep of the machines and the facility. The facility is relatively clean but can get very dusty at times. It is not climate-controlled, so candidates need to be comfortable working in both warm and cool environments. This is a union facility, and candidates will be required to join the union after a 30-day probationary period.
